Comic relief
Just a little something that made me laugh…
I went to the gym during my lunch break today. Worked out on the bike for about 30 minutes, then did some laps on the track and a little stretching… Nothing crazy intense, but a solid workout.
Got out to my car afterward and checked my cell phone — there was a message from my boyfriend, who’s home from work today because he’s sick. After about 45 of exercising, taking care of myself, being healthy… This is the text that was waiting on me: “Oh my goodness. Paula Deen just taught me how to make s’mores on the grill!”
It reminded me that it’s never going to be easy and there are always going to be choices to make. And that even those who support us can sometimes make things harder. But mostly, it made me laugh.

I was at Walmart today with my husband, and after waiting “patiently” (we know how men can be) for me to check the label on several things in the store, he rewards himself with a pack of chocolate Twizzlers! Thanks hunny!
